Intro/Regionals

So I've finally decided to start writing about ultimate (the sport itself, the people, and anything else I feel relates to it.) Not sure how long this will last, but for now it will at least give me a spot to keep all of the other blogs I frequent somewhat organized.

So for right now what I've got on my plate is Southwest Regionals in two weeks in La Jolla, CA. My team is the 10 seed and will have to play national powerhouse, and 1st seed, Colorado first round. Then we have a bye followed by a rematch with our rivals SLO Core. We've been playing them tight all year, and finally notched a win over them this past weekend at So Cal Sectionals. We then lost to them later in the day, but I think we can take them down again. After that game we'll play Occidental in what should be an easier game, even with their former elite coach. Hopefully we can break our horrendous Regionals streak of 1-9 (abysmal record.) From past experience San Diego will not be anywhere near the 90+ temperatures we were playing in last weekend in Claremont.

So there we go. I wonder how long this will actually last.
